“If you don’t make the commitment today to start becoming the person you need to be to create the extraordinary life you really want, what makes you think tomorrow–or next week, or next month, or next year–are going to be any different? They won’t and that’s why you must draw your line in the sand. ”
Hal Elrod “The Miracle Morning”
Sometimes you come across a quote and it just speaks to you. I read this book over a year ago and remember reading this. I remember thinking about the importance of the decision I had made to start my fitness journey.
You see, no one can draw that line in the sand for you, no one. That line in the sand is something we all must decide on our own (and in our own time) to draw.
When you finally do decide to draw that line, that is the day that you decide that there are no more excuses. That is the day you decide to take power of the things you do instead of letting life pass you by. That is the day when you finally tell yourself that you matter!
That decision is incredibly empowering and incredibly personal. Don’t take it lightly, don’t be afraid to not be perfect, but most importantly, don’t be afraid to let it happen.
You see, nothing good comes from a place of fear. Stand up, be proud, and just start.
